SYMCA - Levelling Up

What are we doing about COVID-19?

The Launchpad team are putting practical measures in place to reduce the health risks for individuals and businesses with whom we engage. We understand, as new business owners this is a particularly concerning time and the steps we have introduced are designed to minimise risk to you and your business, whilst crucially ensuring you can continue to access help and support.

Within Launchpad, we are following Government guidelines and teams have, where appropriate, facilitated home working for staff where feasible. We will be introducing new measures to enable you to access planned workshops online. You will be contacted by your advisor about any workshops you have already booked.

As a further precaution, we have also encouraged face-to-face meetings to be replaced with telephone meetings as a means of preventing the spread of Coronavirus within the Sheffield City Region.

What can you do?

We encourage you to read and act on the advice provided by Government and to adjust your working practices accordingly.

Make yourself aware of the signs and symptoms of the virus. If you are infected or suspect a colleague or member of the public has become infected with the virus, follow this information.

The Government has already introduced some financial measures to help individuals who are self-employed to safeguard their businesses. We will continue to share this information when more details become available

Everyone here in the Launchpad team wish you all the best and we will continue to keep you updated about changes to our programme via our social media channels:
