Who’s Involved?

Launchpad is a business support programme for new and existing businesses. The programme began in April 2016 as a 3 year project, part funded by the European Regional Development Fund and due to its success was awarded additional ERDF investment and extended until June 2023.

Launchpad then successfully secured investment through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) from July 2023 to March 2026.

The current Launcpad project is now funded through the Local Growth Fund (LGF)

Launchpad is delivered across South Yorkshire and led by the award winning team Enterprising Barnsley, within Barnsley Council and delivered in partnership with the City of Doncaster Council, Sheffield City Council and Rotherham Council.  It is supported and part funded by the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority (SYMCA) and has attracted £1.27m investment from the UK Government through the Local Growth Fund.
