DESCRIPTION:***Please note\, this workshop is hosted by Barnsley Launchpad who supports start-ups & new businesses within the Sheffield City Region area. You need to live within Sheffield City Region to book a place on this workshop. *** \nThe hardest part about starting up is starting out. This is why we have organised a Start Up Saturday to get you motivated and full of knowledge so you can make a giant leap towards creating your business! \nIt doesn’t matter what your idea is or what your circumstances are – we are here to help you turn your ideas into reality – no matter how big or small! \nToday is all about getting started. We will cover: \nWhere are you now? – what is your idea?\nHow can you test\, check and validate your ideas?\nWhat essentials do you need to operate your business?\nWhat about the money? How will you survive?\nPutting a plan together\nWe will introduce you to Business Model Canvas – a visual\, one page Business Plan that you will complete on the day and take away to use as your action plan going forward. We will show you how to create a cash flow forecast & why this is an important tool for assessing your businesses viability & success. \nEveryone who attends will also be registered on our Launchpad Programme so you can continue to access business support following this event. If you are not already registered for Launchpad we will contact you via phone or email to book you an appointment with one of our Business Advisors to get you registered & find out more about your business aspirations. \nEvent Information: \nThis will be an online interactive session.
