DESCRIPTION:Please note this workshop is for businesses who have been trading for under two years\, or people who are looking to become self-employed in the Doncaster area. \nThe Business Growth Accelerator Programme is to help start-up businesses to grow in trading and sales. \nWhy should I attend? \nDay one of the first cohort will cover the following areas: \n\nAssessing your current position\nReviewing your targeted market\nAssess current offer in relation to:\nThe offer itself\nThe current marketing strategy\nThe potential barriers to entry and how to overcome/speed up entry and development.\nHow to improve your chances of success and speed up growth including:\nCompetitors\nAlternatives\nMarketing options\nStimulating Demand\n\nWhat is the format? \n9:15am: Workshop will commence \n12:00pm – Lunch is provided by Launchpad \n4:15pm – Finish \nGlyn Cartwight of Consultancy Academy and Managing Director of five companies\, primarily in construction products and operating in 30 countries. Glyn previously trained as a teacher\, became a sales director graduating to marketing director\, and managing director in other companies. In addition to his extensive business experience\, Glyn undertook his MBA and is currently completing his Doctorate in Business Growth. \nDr. John Paul Kawalek\, Head of Management Division\, Management School\, University of Sheffield and Director of Consultancy Academy. John’s professional background is in IT and management consulting. He has a wide range of experience in different types of organisations; this this experience includes large private sector organisations\, and in public sector\, as well as with small and medium sized organisations. John lectures in Systems Theory\, Change Management and Management Consultancy at the University of Sheffield. \nChiles Cartwright is a serial entrepreneur\, multiple business owner\, property developer\, Sheffield University MBA supervisor and key note speaker. Chiles has worked in a senior capacity at some of the biggest know companies including L’Oreal and Nokia.
